I had the striped bass "stew" and it was delicious, but my brother-in-law had the artic char and I liked that slightly more. The thing that struck us was the simplicity of the menu. It didn't really grab us and our group was on the verge of leaving before deciding to stay. I'm so glad we did because the flavours that each dish have are unbelievable if you've treid to infer from the menu. Brunch is indeed excellent too. I don't know about the arrogant transplants - being a green card-holding CH-living transplant myself - but there does seem to be somewhat of a destination vibe to No. 7. However, it's deserved. Staff included, it's filled with arrogant transplants that know nothing about the neighborhood or the city they've invaded. Please leave, or at the very least, go back to Williamsburg.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.com
