It's an above-average neighborhood place but not much more.<BR/><BR/>Even if lines were no issue, I would prefer DiFaras, Lucali's [on Henry] or Arturros [in the city]. And that's off the top of my head.<BR/><BR/>So, when easy Grimaldi's is a good pie. Super fresh and pretty fast. It is true you get lost in there with your waiter, end up overhearing annoying tourist's conversations due to the close proximity. I've only eaten in the restaurant once. They are surprisingly surly considering they are a pizza place. Just be prepared to be looked down upon by your server.<BR/><BR/>As far as the pizza goes, it is very good. It is classic woodfired pizza with fresh ingredients. You'll get chummy with fellow patrons because they pack the guests in nice and tight.
