I've had a whole lot going on lately that's been preventing me from cooking or trying any new neighborhood restaurants, so apologies for the lack of posting. I'll be back in the saddle soon enough, I hope, though I'll be traveling on business during the first couple of weeks of March, so now that I think about it I'm not sure how much posting there will be in the immediate future. I'll do what I can, though.
I did get a chance to try a place I've been meaning to for a while, but it's not in Clinton Hill so I'm not going to bother with a proper review. Last night I finally stopped into Blue 9 Burger in the East Village. I've been hearing for years that it's a great burger, and very similar to In-N-Out, which for those of you who don't know is a famous and tasty burger chain out west. Blue 9's got a reputation for being one of the better burgers in NYC, and it didn't disappoint. Stop in if you're ever in the area, it's on 3rd between 12th and 13th.
In addition to a great burger for dinner, I had lunch at Otto, Mario Batali's pizzeria on 8th, which is always good.
