While taking the pictures for the pumpkin chocolate cheesecake last week, my trusty little Canon SD1000 kind of bit the dust. While I'm going to try and have it fixed, it was an easy excuse to buy a new camera and start to take photography a little more seriously, something I've been considering doing for a while. I ended up getting a digital SLR camera and a couple of lenses, and I'm going to take photography up as a serious hobby.
I've started a blog, How I Make Photo? to chronicle my journey into the world of amateur photography, something I know even less about than food and wine.
My lack of camera for more than a week has held me back from cooking - how sad is it that I don't want to cook unless I can take pictures? Since that's no longer an issue, I'll get back on the horse tonight.
